DAY 18 & 19

Yesterday was Dad's birthday and I didn't quite feel up to writing a big blog post, so I decided to mesh today and yesterday together again.

As well as being Dad's birthday, Easter Camp, which we were supposed to be at over this weekend, has gone completely online so my friends and I have been working through the morning and evening sessions of those together. It's really cool to reflect on the past years' session and get the most out of the talks from each theme. I find it still gets me in the same mindset that I would have if I was there, which is a comfort in a time like this.

Nana came over yesterday which was nice too, and she looked over my crocheting and gave me a few tips for my singlet. I'm making good progress and am super excited it to have it done. Today I also had another little side creative project, where I painted some acrylic onto these blue jeans I had to resemble the X & Y album by Coldplay. It turned out so much better than I thought and I'm so pumped about them! I took some progress photos, so I think I'm going to write a separate post about how I made them and what they ended up looking like.

Dad finished our tack shed today, so Mum and I moved all our horsey gear out of the machine shed into that, which was super cool, about three years of thinking and planning went into that. Mum also made hot cross buns yesterday, which were super nice for breakfast this morning.

Went for a horse ride with Mum today as well, and set up a new course of jumps. I did a few flying angels (no handed jumps) for the first time in a long time, and realized how crappy my balance actually is when I'm not relying on the reins. I'll work on that a bit in the next few days I think.
