If i'm being honest, I don't know if today was any more productive than yesterday. We got these alerts this evening, with an official warning that the official lock down of New Zealand at Level Four begins tonight at midnight. We're packing it in for the long haul people...

So Emma, you said you weren't productive?

No, I mean I still got stuff done, I just didn't feel like it. Maybe the borders of my mind are already closing in on me :0

Just kidding, I'd be pretty concerned if it was shutting down on the second day aha, ha.

Okay, on to the proof that I did get out of bed today.

For one, I upgraded my website so that I now have a domain name with no wix ads! Yay! My mind can rest in peace now that I do not have a purple bar at the top of my blue and white aesthetic. Being honest though, setting that up took so much longer than I thought it would, just touching up little things and jumping into the depths of the rabbit hole that is following Wix Setup Prompts is a mission and a half.

I got myself out of the house as well for a few walks around our ten acres and also up to our shed to the rowing machine, where I did 5000m on setting 7 which absolutely killed my already sore legs. Big brain time. But it felt good to be on it again, I haven't rowed in so long.

I did about 15 minutes of ollies, I was't really feeling it today, but managed to get them up a little more consistently today, even though they're still minuscule. Somehow I just can't seem to get them any higher, but I believe it's just because I'm scared of jumping high on the board...we'll get there I'm sure.

Oh! An order I placed came! I have a specific photo shoot in mind that I would really really like to do for my photography folio for school, which involves 800g of colour run powder.

If that's not the coolest shot you've seen, you really do have an epic life. So, if all goes to plan, once I have finished logging this diary and I am back out in the outer world with people who are able to skate I will get some shots like this. Perks of not being able to kick-flip.

I also put the tech aside for a bit, and got out my paints out. It's a work in progress, but I'm attempting a small photo of a thrush. To spare your eyes, if it turns out okay in the end I will try to remember and take a photo of it.

I set a goal yesterday, to each day do something:

1. That keeps me fit or gets me out the house

2. Something that relaxes me or that I enjoy

3. An activity that benefits my schoolwork in some way

And yes, I did do schoolwork. Before school shut down, we were working on our writing portfolio, which consists of two pieces, each 500 words each or longer. I have already written one creative piece, which I may or may not post on here, and had started my second. Today I managed to get it from about 100 words, to about 350, so I wasn't completely unproductive on that goal, though I don't think I was working on it quite an hour.

So, personally, I'm happy with the fact that I managed to cross each thing off my mini list, and I reckon that the feeling of productivity will come to me as I get more into a routine (and get my butt off Instagram).

I have also made a decision regarding my Master List as Proof of Productivity. I won't be putting on minor things on there such as rowing or little skate sessions (unless I achieve something) etc, that I will be doing pretty much everyday in some form or another. It's gotta be standalone, major things that I put on there. In this case, I cannot add much today, but that's alright.

1. Launched Blog

2. Written my first blog post

3. Mini Photoshoot with Skateboard

4. Finished Editing English Piece One

Until tomorrow,

Bye ✌
