We're finally getting somewhere! Today felt really good, probably because I spent a heck of lot less time on my laptop fiddling around with this website! Finally I can rest and just focus on posting, phew!
So today was the first official whole day of lock down, and to be honest didn't see much difference in traffic past our place, but I guess it's still sinking in to everyone. Also doesn't help that I live out of town quite a bit.
For the first time in forever, my family slept in, a miracle that only comes along every month or so. It was approximately 9:20AM when I got up (on my own accord for once). This may seem pretty early to some, but I'd take 9:20 over 6:30 anytime.

After toast with this lemon honey I found stashed in the back of the pantry, Mum and I took our horses out to the back paddock for a ride. I managed to actually get a beneficial working session in with Cruise for the first time in a long time, as I had really felt like our progress had flat lined until today. And then of course, we had to take them for a gallop up the hill, because who doesn't love a good adrenaline rush when you've been getting pins and needles from sitting in isolation for three days.
Once we were back inside from our ride, I really tried something out of my comfort zone. I cooked something. New World has these amazing cheese and pesto pinwheel scrolls that I just happened to be craving so I thought why not? Surely they're not that hard to make if they're precisely 65c at the supermarket.

They actually turned out really nice and I'm so proud of them! To be fair, we do have a bread maker, which made the pizza dough for me, but after that I just chucked on some cheese and pesto, rolled it up and put them in the oven at 180 degrees for about 25 minutes and they were sweet as! Easy enough for a numpty like me to do.
My brother and I then decided to jump on the motorbikes and get those out for a spin. I have only ridden his CRF100 once before, so you can bet I was out in the paddock bunny hopping all over the place, but it was super fun and I can now say I'm addicted. Of course, a teenage boy on a 250, I was getting severely smoked, but I'll let him get his fun out of it.
It began to rain after about 15 minutes, so we packed it in and jumped on Tomb Raider for a little gaming session. You can't have isolation without gaming.
So, if you've read my other two posts, you'll be wondering, hey, what about those goals you set the other day? About schoolwork?
To ease your worrying minds, I did some photography research and managed to get a bit more of my English piece done. I really don't know how I feel about it though, might have to change a few things...
Now that I've pretty much summed up my most productive day yet, here's the stuff you've all been waiting for.

I'm not gonna lie, I'm really happy with how today went, and I hope the rest of isolation is as productive as I was today. Gonna do some more skateboarding tomorrow and hopefully some rowing too if my legs allow me. Possibly some chores as well according to the Mother :)
